Sylvain Vauclair has been practising in the field of insolvency law for over 35 years and has throughout that period represented the full spectrum of stakeholders, from debtors' and creditors' committees to bondholders, CCAA monitors, trustees in bankruptcy and lenders. His work is now particularly focused on significant restructuring matters.
Recent engagements include the representation of the Monitor in the CCAA cross border proceedings of Montreal Maine & Atlantic Railway and Fiat Chrysler in the restructuring of Coopers & Lybrand and the bankruptcy of Castor Holdings.
