Partner and Head of the Adult Brain Injury department at Bolt Burdon Kemp. Suzanne specialises in complex adult brain injury claims arising out of both medical negligence and personal injury. Recent cases relating to meningitis, stroke and failure to monitor vital signs during physical restraint. She represents many claimants who lack mental capacity, and those who now have a shortened life expectancy as a result of their injuries.

Suzanne is a Trustee of the Silverlinings Charity.

 

Career

Qualified in 2005, joined Bolt Burdon Kemp in 2008 and made Partner in 2013. Became Head of the Medical Negligence department in 2014, before becoming Head of the Adult Brain Injury department in 2017.

Fellow, accredited clinical negligence specialist and assessor, and Joint Vice-President an a member of the Executive Committee of the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers. Senior Associate member of the Royal Society of Medicine. Headway accredited specialist brain injury solicitor.

Contributor to the Journal of Personal Injury Law, and various legal and business publications. A regular contributor to the mainstream as well as legal and medical press on topical issues.
