Steven Ward is an associate in the London office of Paul Hastings. Mr. Ward focuses on all aspects of the formation, operation, and regulation of private investment funds (including private equity, real estate, debt, infrastructure, CLOs and hedge) and their operators. Mr. Ward has a particular specialism and interest in funds regulatory matters (particularly the AIFMD). Mr. Ward also has particular experience in advising sponsors on the regulatory implications and requirements of global fundraising campaigns. Mr. Ward acts for sponsors, investors, lenders, placement agents, and other related parties in relation to fund formation, investment, regulatory, and compliance matters.
Mr. Ward holds a B.A. (first class honours) from the University of York in English Literature. Mr. Ward completed the Graduate Diploma in Law at BPP, Waterloo in 2010 and the Legal Practice Course at BPP, Holborn in 2011. Mr. Ward was admitted as a Solicitor in England in Wales on 1 September 2013.
