Practice Areas
Stephen’s practice focuses on litigating disputes and negotiating contracts for owners, general contractors, and subcontractors in commercial, multifamily, industrial, school, and highway construction. He has tried numerous cases in trial and arbitration, serving as both lead counsel and second chair. Stephen has also drafted and negotiated contracts, subcontracts, purchase orders, and master services agreements for projects up to $40 million. Stephen relies on his litigation and transactional experience to counsel clients through all phases of the construction process to manage risk and avoid disputes.
Career
Prior to his legal career, Stephen worked as a project engineer in high-rise construction for a large general contractor. Stephen’s background and experience are assets when advising clients during contract negotiations, the course of construction, and disputes.
