•The use of technology in healthcare including the regulation of mhealth apps and related convergence issues – Simon has authored a paper on this topic for the Life Sciences section of PLC

•Smart meter commercial and financing models in the UK gas/electricity sector
In addition to transactional matters such as IPR collaborations and outsourcing. He is pragmatic and business focussed and regularly advises on an international basis, acting as strategic coordinating counsel.
Simon worked in-house in a pharmaceutical business early in his career and his first degree was in chemistry/biochemistry.
He leads Eversheds Sutherland's Health and Life Sciences sector group and advises life sciences businesses on a range of IP, advertising, compliance, regulatory and commercial matters.
