Simon led the team advising the Motion Picture Association in the first case to secure a UK court order requiring Internet Service Providers to use their Internet infrastructure to prevent access to websites infringing copyright. His team also advised the owners of Cartier and Montblanc on their case to secure similar protection against websites selling counterfeit products. He advises clients such as the Motion Picture Association, Warner Bros., Richemont, NBCU, Ministry of Sound, the Publishers Association, IFPI and many others.
Simon also advises on a range of litigation disputes including advising the largest UK racecourses and their related commercial companies in one of the largest private competition law actions in the UK (concerning sports rights). He has represented numerous companies in matters as diverse as database rights, judicial review and insolvency.
