Sarah Priestley is a partner in Goodwin’s tax practice. Ms. Priestley focuses on complex UK, multi-jurisdictional and pan-European M&A and private equity transactions. She advises on the UK corporation tax, VAT and stamp duty aspects of a wide range of commercial transactions, including take privates, private equity investments, private and public company takeovers, corporate restructurings and spinoffs. Ms. Priestley also advises on management packages, employment taxation and share incentive schemes.
Prior to joining Goodwin in 2016, she was the London head of tax at Shearman & Sterling, and was previously head of the corporate tax group at Weil Gotshal’s London office.
