Rosemary has worked exclusively in the field of commercial property since qualification in 1995. She acts for a diverse range of clients, ranging from very large estate owners, multiple retailers and significant private investors. She is an expert on the Business Tenancies (Northern Ireland) Order 1996 and has lectured and published widely on this subject. In addition, she is qualified commercial mediator with particular interest in real estate disputes.
Rosemary graduated from Queen’s University, Belfast with a first class honours degree in Law in 1993. She joined Carson McDowell as an Assistant Solicitor in 1997, becoming a Partner in 2001. Rosemary formerly led the firm’s Real Estate team and in 2018 changed from Partner to Consultant. Consultancy afforded Rosemary the opportunity to accept a role as professional fellow of the School of Law at Queens University, Belfast where she teaches Land Law.

Rosemary is actively involved with several Northern Irish charities particularly the Adsum Foundation and Cavaliers in Need (NI).
