Rodrigo Conesa joined the firm in 1991 and has been a partner since 2002. He is the head of the real estate practice area. He has more than 20 years of recognized experience participating in operations involving real estate development, financing and acquisitions. He advises pension and private equity funds on structuring and investing in private funds for real estate financing. He also represents real estate investment funds with respect to their investments in Mexico, including property acquisitions, financing, development and asset management, and advises developers in the acquisition, development, financing and divestment of real estate assets in all vertical sectors of the industry.
As to his experience in M&A, he is very active primarily in the acquisition and disposition of real estate assets.
Rodrigo graduated from the Universidad Iberoamericana (1993), and obtained his Master of Laws (LL.M) from Columbia University (1996). He is licensed to practice law in Mexico and New York. He worked as a foreign associate at the New York office of Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom.
