Bob has extensive experience in the areas of corporate, securities, energy and general commercial matters. His practice is transactional in nature and relates to both private (including startup and emerging companies) and public company matters, including corporate mergers and acquisitions, mega-project transactions, go private transactions, public offerings and private placements of equity and debt securities, purchases and sales of assets and shares, corporate recapitalizations and restructurings and arrangement transactions together with all associated contract negotiations and preparation. He also has significant corporate governance experience and has served on a number of public and private boards and trusts in positions as chair, lead director and chair and member of governance committees. Bob represents a diverse group of individuals and public and private companies including energy and service companies, oil sands companies, private equity providers, securities dealers and investment banks.
