Rachel has a wealth of experience in Landlord and Tenant Law, Land Law, Trusts and Contentious Probate.
Rachel has represented tenants in possession, disrepair and injunction (repair and anti social behaviour) claims for almost 20 years. She has been involved in the leading cases on Welsh Landlord and Law including Jarvis v Evans  EWCA Civ 854 and Evans v Fleri  EW Misc 13 (CC), both cases being significant decisions marking successes for the tenants. Her work extends to judicial review, and she recently successfully drafted proceedings seeking injunctive relief and judicial review of a Local Authority’s failure to apply Welsh guidance in relation to homelessness obligations in light of the Covid pandemic.
Rachel's trust and contentious probate work has encompassed bombings, high profile intra family murders, rape and incest, suicide and exhumation matters.
Rachel is currently a member of the Equality and Human Rights Commission's Panel of Counsel.
As an experienced Land Law practitioner, she frequently acts in boundary and easement disputes appearing in High Court, County Court and Tribunal. Her experience has a particular focus on agricultural land.
As a mediator, Rachel is known for her adept management of issues and pragmatic solutions.
