Dr. Qiang Xue was one of the first antitrust lawyers practicing in China and was involved in drafting the Anti-Monopoly Law of 2007 when working in the National Development and Reform Commission, the legacy Chinese antitrust enforcement agency responsible for conduct investigation. He also has good insights into antitrust laws of other major jurisdictions based on his secondment with EU’s and UK’s antitrust regulators and on-the-ground experience in Jones Day’s Washington D.C. office. He represents clients in all aspects of antitrust law, including government investigations, merger reviews, and private litigations. In addition to his extensive experience regarding China Anti-Monopoly Law, Qiang regularly advises Chinese companies on overseas antitrust and government regulation matters, especially antitrust investigations in other major jurisdictions.
