Omer Soomro heads the litigation department at RIAA Barker Gillette’s Karachi office. He handles all kinds of corporate, civil litigation and white-collar crime proceedings. He acts on constitutional law matters at the High Courts of Pakistan. Omer has represented clients in commercial arbitration, locally and overseas. He has been involved in a wide variety of cases before the Sindh High Court, including matters relating to pharmaceuticals, customs, sales tax, intellectual property and the National Accountability Bureau. Additionally, Omer has been involved in drafting legislation, such as The Trade Development Authority of Pakistan Ordinance, 2006.
