Partner. Nilton focus his work on transactional mandates in the offshore industries such as Oil & Gas and Shipping & Ports. His emphasis is on corporate/M&A, contracts and regulatory work and is also experienced with dispute resolution (especially in administrative proceedings against regulatory agencies – like ANTAQ and the ANP as well as international arbitrations). He advises shipping, navigation and E&P companies, as well as offshore service providers, transporters, freight owners, private terminals, port users and leaseholders, shipyards, private equity funds and financial institutions and associations.He was a secondee at BP Energy, Petrobras and CNPC in Brazil. Nilton worked as foreign associate in the London office of Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer.
