Nicholas Smith is a partner in the firm’s Technology Practice. He advises a wide range of clients on all types of complex technology projects including: outsourcing transactions; IP licensing; cloud services; strategic alliances and collaborations; technology development and innovation projects; and cybersecurity and privacy. He also has considerable experience on renegotiations and dispute management in this area. His work on privacy and cybersecurity matters includes advising on corporate strategy, evolving regulation, and incident response. Mr. Smith also advises on the technology aspects of numerous private equity and restructuring matters, often supporting client efforts to rationalize their technology strategy and operations in connection with M&A transactions, investments, and restructurings.
