Practice Areas

Naboth van den Broek is a Partner in Akin Gump’s international trade practice. He advises companies and governments on issues at the intersection of international law, policy, government and strategy. Distinctive among private practitioners, Naboth has represented clients in over 50 WTO disputes spanning the full range of WTO treaty issues, together with a range of other treaty-based and commercial disputes and arbitrations. He also advises clients on geo-economic strategy, compliance, and government affairs issues, including within the EU, UK, U.S. and globally, and on foreign investment control and trade remedies matters. Recently, he has been advising clients on trade and policy issues pertaining to the U.S.-China relationship, climate change, intellectual property, investment, global health, BREXIT and in a range of industrial sectors including semiconductors, financial services, energy, technology and manufacturing.
