Michele Carpinelli has long-standing experience advising Italian and international clients on matters concerning corporate law, public and private M&A, public purchase bids, extraordinary transactions including mergers, demergers, capital increases, corporate restructuring for industrial, banking, insurance, and finance groups of companies, and corporate governance of groups subject to regulatory and prudential supervision. Thanks to this experience, he currently advises clients on corporate governance for listed companies, including related-party transactions, general structuring of extraordinary corporate transactions, family wealth management, relationships with supervisory bodies (specifically, Consob and Bank of Italy), and litigation in the above areas, including litigation before the courts of the European Union.

Career

Michele Carpinelli joined the Firm in 1971, became a Partner in 1979 and Special Independent Counsel in 2017.
