Michael is a partner in our Human Resources Practice Group. He qualified in 1990.
Michael deals with all aspects of employment law both contentious and non-contentious acting almost exclusively for employers. He has extensive experience both in the public and private sectors and is an experienced advocate before the Employment Tribunal and the Employment Appeal Tribunal, having conducted complex and high-profile claims. His particular expertise lies in executive terminations, large scale reorganisations and injunctive relief. Michael also regularly provides training to clients both in house and on external courses.
Michael's recent experience includes dealing with various applications for injunctive relief relating to restrictive covenants and confidentiality, and advising listed companies on main board reorganisations, appointments and exits, and defending a multi-claimant employment tribunal claim relating to changes to terms and conditions and section 188.
