Michael Nicklin regularly advises leading private equity sponsors, banks, other financial institutions and corporates in structuring and negotiating complex cross-border and domestic acquisition finance transactions including public-to-private transactions using the latest financing techniques including US-style Term Loan B, bank/bond deals and unitranche. Michael regularly represents hedge funds and other investors in special situations transactions. He has deep experience in a wide-range of other financing transactions including restructurings, debt buybacks and opco/propco structures. Michael has worked on a number of the largest LBOs in the Asia-Pacific region and is a frequent speaker on acquisition finance and syndicated lending.
