Matt has over 20 years of experience in the travel law industry. His well-established defendant personal injury practice revolves around two main aspects. Firstly, single party claims for trips, slips and more complex cases such as serious and fatal injuries. Secondly he has a long history or successfully dealing with illness cases – legionnaires outbreaks as well illness group and class actions involving noro-virus, salmonella, cryptosporidium and other types of food poisoning. Matt’s connections, knowledge and experience has also lead to instructions from clients from other jurisdictions on advice on English law. As well as advising various clients on this topic, Matt has been called upon to provide training and seminars to the aviation industry as well as giving commentary in trade publications. He has blogged on various issues, featured in newsletters and has commented on industry issues in the trade press. A popular moderator, trainer and speaker Matt is often asked to deliver in house seminars, appear on panel debates and has also spoken many times in the UK and abroad.
