María has more than 15 years of experience providing legal advice in the most complex issues related to Commercial Litigation and Arbitration, E-Commerce, Data Protection and New Technologies.
María's experience includes advising leading companies in the financial, education, retail, energy, telecommunications, real estate and pharmaceutical sectors in structuring programs of crisis management; managing claims, arbitration and litigation, civil liability, real state and construction claims; structuring contracts and policies regarding data protection, B2B and B2C e-commerce, and new technologies; valuation of contingencies in complex transactions and due diligences.
She has given several workshops, served as panelist and has trained personnel of national and transnational companies, NGOs and public institutions on arbitration, e-commerce, data privacy and new technologies. She has published several articles and publications on these matters.
Graduated from the University of Costa Rica, licensed in Law (2006).
