Graduated from Pontificia Universidade Católica de São Paulo in 1998, Lourdes focuses on environmental law. In 2000, Lourdes has specialized in Environmental Management at São Paulo State University, further continuing her academic graduation in 2006 (LL.M) and 2011 (J.S.D) at the University of California - Berkeley. Lourdes has an initial passage on the environmental area of Demarest from 2001 until 2008. After that, she has practiced as independent consultant for environmental issues. On 2015 Lourdes has returned to Demarest, advising clients on the multiple aspects of environmental law. Amongst those issues, Lourdes has been regularly advising clients in complying with the New Forest Code. In addition, Lourdes has also been advising the tires and packages sectors in negotiating sector-specific agreements to implement the reverse logistics system settled by the National Waste Management Policy Act. On 2009, Lourdes has also served as visiting professor at the master on Corporate Law of the Getulio Vargas Foundation, and since 2014 is the substitute director of the Environmental Department of FIESP - São Paulo State Industry Federation.
