Partner. Lina has more than 20 years of experience in environmental law. Her expertise includes environmental regulatory and litigation matters, including forest, ecosystem services, contaminated sites, licensing, solid waste and circular economy, crisis management and ESG (environmental, social and governance) requirements for investments. Climate change advice has been one of her most important focus. She counsels leading companies from various industries on matters related to biodiversity, management of contaminated land, water resources, multi-stakeholders’ engagement, and complex projects, climate change, and environmental licenses. Her experience on management in former positions within public and private sector helped her skills on coordination of complexes cases.
She is currently Co-chair of the Environmental, Health and Safety Committee of the International Bar Association and a Co-coordinator of the Chapter Zero in Brazil and is a Member of the Permanent Environmental Commission of the Brazilian Bar Association of São Paulo (OAB-SP).
