Leïla has extensive knowledge and recognized experience in the energy and infrastructure sectors. She has been actively advising clients in France and emerging economies, including Francophone Africa, for nearly 20 years on multiple renewables/power, transport and social infrastructure projects.
Leïla has developed in-depth expertise in project finance and project development, M&As and joint ventures in the energy, infrastructure, telecommunications, oil and mining sectors, including with regard to contractual, regulatory and public law, as well as licensing matters.
As a renowned energy specialist, she has provided pro bono support to the Global Solar Energy Standardization Initiative, which aims at standardising contracts to streamline and scale up the global development and financing of solar projects.
