Laura specialises in commercial intellectual property matters. Co-head of the life sciences practice, Laura acts for a broad range of clients from universities and research institutions, biotech companies to established pharmaceutical companies and specialist healthcare investors. Laura's work includes advice on product development deals including research and development collaborations, strategic alliances, in-licensing and out-licensing, university and pharma spin-outs, the performance of clinical trials and clinical services as well as the acquisition of rights, data and product lines. Laura also advises on commercial arrangements relating to products including manufacturing, marketing, supply and distribution. Laura has acted as an expert in US patent infringement proceedings, advising on English law IP licensing issues.
