Katie is an associate in the Real Estate team at Lewis Silkin. She advises on a wide range of commercial property transactions and her work includes the drafting and negotiation of agreements, leases, licences and other property documentation.
Katie has assisted landlords and tenants, local councils, retailers, high net worth individuals, and property developers (among others) on a range of matters. This has included:
•assisting with the pre-letting of retail units at Islington Square (a 4.5 acre development to create a mixed residential, shopping and leisure district);
•helping to advise one of the world’s leading international auctioneers in relation to their UK property portfolio;
•assisting tenants on the letting of units on large industrial estates; and
•helping to advise on the ongoing regeneration of Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park.

Katie grew up in the Rhondda Valleys in South Wales and plays rugby in her spare time, having started playing at Warwick University. Katie volunteers for WildSide (part of The Lifescape Project), a website that provides reliable, unbiased information about where and how to see wildlife.
