Juan Manuel Naveira specialises in administrative and constitutional law, economic regulation and government contracts. He advises and represents both local and foreign clients in the fields of public utilities, infrastructure and other regulated industries. He regularly participates in public procurement proceedings and deals with the regulatory aspects of major transactions as well as in public law litigation.
Juan Manuel combines his public law practice with extensive prior experience in private law matters, allowing him to adapt with versatility to the needs of the clients he advises by providing them with comprehensive consulting services.
He is also focused in compliance and anti-corruption regulations, advising local and foreign clients on local anti-corruption regulations, particularly in relation to interactions with public officials in the context of public procurement procedures and administrative contracts.
Juan Manuel joined Marval O'Farrell Mairal in 2016. Before joining Marval O'Farrell Mairal, he worked at several State-owned companies and as a legal advisor for the LATAM representative of the Hague Conference on Private International Law.
