Founding partner of TozziniFreire, José Luis has broad experience in Corporate Law, mergers and acquisitions, capital market and publicly-traded companies, financial market, tax planning, and local and international contracts in general. He has directly coordinated the most complex operations for local and international corporations from many different fields. In addition, in Brazil, he is an expert on Corporate Law and business management of professional services, who is frequently invited to write and lecture on relevant topics, in Brazil and abroad, to the national economy and its relationship with other countries.
José Luis is the Chairman of the Board of Directors of CESA (Center of Studies of the Associations of Brazilian Law Firms); Vice-President of the Executive Board of the Institute of International and Comparative Law of the Center for American and International Law; and former President of WLG (World Law Group). José Luis is a member of the NYSBA (New York State Bar Association), the ABA (American Bar Association) and the IPBA (Inter-Pacific Bar Association).
