José Del Chiaro is the founder and lead antitrust partner. He is closely involved in every case, providing the experience and strategic vision that comes from more than 30 years of practice in various industries. He is widely recognised at home and abroad as one of Brazil’s leading antitrust lawyers, being featured in numerous professional publications. Mr Del Chiaro was Brazil’s first Secretary of Economic Law at the Ministry of Justice, Chairman of CADE and a consultant to FIESP, the São Paulo Industry Federation. Clients include Air Liquide, Alcoa, ArcelorMittal, Ericsson, Coca-Cola FEMSA, Google, Heineken, Lundbeck, MAN, Tecban, Mondelez, Philip Morris, Renault and Volkswagen.
He belongs to the Brazilian Bar Association, the São Paulo Attorneys’ Institute (IASP) and is a founding member of the Brazilian Institute of Competition, Consumption and International Trade Law (IBRAC).
