John is the Chair of the Intellectual Property group. His practice is focused on intellectual property and technology litigation. John has acted as counsel in numerous cases relating to copyright, trade-marks, domain names, trade secrets/confidential information, software development, software and technology licensing, misleading advertising and anti-counterfeiting. John appears before the Federal Court, Federal Court of Appeal, Ontario Superior Court of Justice, Copyright Board of Canada and the Trademarks Opposition Board. He frequently writes and speaks on IP/IT issues and is actively involved in a number of IP organisations.
