Jeremy has practised in family law for his entire career. In 2011 he became Queen’s Counsel and is recognised as a specialist Queen’s Counsel in family law. He was appointed a Family Law Recorder in 2018. He has vast expertise in the most complex of care cases involving the death or serious injury of children (with a particular interest in head injuries), sexual abuse, poisoning cases, fabricated or induced illness. His practice also includes judicial review.
Jeremy has extensive experience in protracted and complicated private law proceedings involving residence (including internal relocation), contact (including parental alienation and intractable contact disputes), allegations of physical, emotional and sexual abuse, disputes over education, religion, medical procedures and changes of name, child abduction, international relocation, surrogacy and parental order applications and parenting disputes arising from same-sex relationships.
