Career
Janet Savage has been practicing since 1981 in the employment and labor law areas. She has significant litigation experience, defending claims by employees including all types of discrimination, contract, and defamation claims, as well as claims for unpaid wages. She is a member of the American Board of Trial Advocates. A significant portion of her practice involves counseling and defending companies on claims of harassment and discrimination in all areas of employment, as well as the ADA, FMLA, and other issues involving employee leave and reasonable accommodation. She also defends companies in all other employment areas, including breach of contract, non-competes and misappropriation. She regularly counsels companies in general employment matters as well as discrimination claims. She also represents clients in various administrative agencies, including the EEOC, the NLRB, and the state and federal Departments of Labor. She is an arbitrator with the American Arbitration Association.
