Partner in Troutman Pepper’s Construction Practice and Business Litigation Groups. A first chair trial lawyer with more than 30 years’ experience in the areas of construction and commercial disputes. In addition, practice includes the counseling and representation of private owners, developers, general contractors, subcontractors, architects and engineers in all aspects of the construction process, including project planning and design, contract drafting and negotiation, bid disputes, contract and delivery issues, mechanic’s liens and stop notices, affirmative claim analysis and prosecution, scheduling and delay issues, and resolution of disputes through negotiation, alternative dispute resolution, arbitration, and ligation in state and federal courts. Construction project experience includes private and public projects in the areas of transportation, general commercial, multi-unit residential, hospital, professional sports stadiums, and other heavy construction projects, as well as general building design and construction.
