Mr. Shapiro is senior counsel in Baker Donelson's Construction Group where he represents owners, general contractors, subcontractors, suppliers and design professionals in construction disputes in state and federal courts, arbitration and mediation.

Mr. Shapiro is a co-founder of the Georgia Legal Services Program. He is also a Fellow of the American College of Construction Lawyers. He is a member of the Atlanta Bar Association and a past-chair of the Construction Law Section. He is also a member of the Georgia and American Bar Associations and of the U.S. Court of Federal Claims. Mr. Shapiro is a past president of the Associated Builders and Contractors of Georgia, Inc.
