Henry joined Leigh Day in 1992. He is a member of the Law Society’s specialist panel. Henry’s extensive experience over the years has covered a breadth of specialisms including birth injury, delayed diagnosis of cancers, brain injury for children and adults, spinal injuries from surgery, A&E and GP errors. Henry will arrange representation for bereaved families at inquests. He has recently dealt with cases involving brain injuries caused, in one case, by removal of a catheter into the jugular vein and, in another, by accepted mismanagement of a patient's anticoagulation medication. Other cases involved late diagnosis of spinal TB infection resulting in paraplegia where again liability is accepted. Another settled case involved a mismanaged gynaecological procedure that resulted in bowel infection and the loss of a kidney.
