Mr. Hicks is the global head of Skadden's international tax practice. His practice focuses on a wide range of international tax issues for multinational corporations, partnerships and other entities involving both tax planning and tax controversy. Mr. Hicks' extensive experience includes international mergers and acquisitions, foreign tax credit, transfer pricing and subpart F. He has worked recently on a number of major transactions, including cross border spins and RMTs. Mr. Hicks has also resolved several large tax disputes with full concession from the IRS, including repatriation and other matters. He is a highly recognized and frequent speaker and author on international tax law developments.
