Recent work highlights include: advising in relation to multi-million pound construction dispute in relation to the redevelopment of three hotels in the highlands; acting in a claim for works carried out under service charge obligations and dilapidations exceeding £2,000,000; acting in a significant claim by the Coal Authority in respect of indemnities for subsidence, with cross-claims against three contractors; and advising a non-departmental government body on their departure from a large office building, including on issues relating to a complex and historic rent review as well as a claim for dilapidations and loss of rent claims exceeding £2,000,000.
Trained at McClure Naismith, qualifying in 2009. Joined Davidson Chalmers Stewart in 2012 as an Assistant, promoted to Partner in 2018.
