Practice Areas

Greg acts for clients in a broad range of corporate, finance and private equity matters with a focus on the global transportation industry. He represents major equity investors, lenders and public and private operating companies in connection with cross-border and domestic capital raising transactions for the shipping and aviation industries, including mergers and acquisitions, private equity joint-ventures and other corporate transactions, fund formation, syndicated and bi-lateral secured loan facilities, secondary market transfers of non-performing loan portfolios, leasing, work-outs and debt restructurings.

He represents clients in connection with international commercial shipping and aviation transactions, including construction contracts and multi-vessel construction programs, complex charter arrangements and the sale and purchase of marine and aviation assets.

Greg and his team are active in registered and unregistered securities offerings (including initial public offerings (IPOs), secondary and follow-on offerings, special purpose acquisition company (SPAC) offerings and business combinations, private investments in public equity, Rule 144A and Regulation S offerings, among others).

Greg holds a BA from St. Lawrence University, summa cum laude, in Government and History, as well as a law degree from Cornell Law School. Greg is a director of both the New York Maritime, Inc. and the Hellenic-American Chamber of Commerce.
