Gerard Forlin KC's practice covers civil, criminal and commercial litigation, health and safety, aviation, inquests and inquiries, environmental and major event planning, crowd safety and State ceremonial matters. He has worked in over 70 countries. His areas of expertise include:
• Health and safety including corporate and gross negligence manslaughter, disaster litigation and all regulatory offences.
• Inquests and public inquiries, including over 300 fatality cases and inquests in the UK and abroad.
• Civil, criminal and commercial litigation and corporate governance and crisis management, including matters relating to aviation.
He has been appointed to an International Mediation and Arbitration panel for the Royal Aeronautical Society and has served as Vice Chairman of The Health and Safety Lawyers' Association since 2016.
Gerard has acted on some of the most high-profile health and safety matters of recent years, including:

• The Hatfield, Teebay, Paddington and Southall Train Crashes

Gerard has published over 100 articles and is the author of Corporate Liability: Work Related Deaths and Criminal Prosecutions, Bloomsbury, 4th Edition, 2022. He is also admitted to practice in Ireland, Australia and the British Virgin Islands.
