Francis has dealt with a significant number of high value claims, many resulting in seven-figure settlements. Most recently he was involved in a child catastrophic injury case which secured the highest personal injury compensation award in UK history. Francis’ interest extends far beyond maximising compensation awards however, as one of his key concerns is to enable the effective rehabilitation of clients.
Having developed an enviable network of professionals in the south east to support his clients improve their quality of life, Francis founded the innovative Brain Injury Group (BIG), a national organisation for brain injury lawyers, where he remains actively involved as Director of Training.
Francis was formerly Chair of a charity providing care, rehabilitation and support services to those affected by brain injury. He is also founder and Chair of the Sussex Acquired Brain Injury Forum, an organisation promoting awareness for brain injury in the Sussex community.
Francis is an accredited member of the Head Injury Solicitors List, and a qualified mediator. He was previously awarded the National Lawyer Award for inspiration and innovation in the field of brain injury by UKABIF. He has written numerous articles on brain injuries and rehabilitation and regularly speaks at national conferences.
