Estate and Succession Planning and Administration
Fran's practice is concentrated in the areas of estate and generation skipping planning, the taxation of estates and trusts and the administration of estates. She also provides counsel to clients on asset protection planning, including the Ohio Legacy Trust.
In addition to a wealth of experience using sophisticated and creative tax and planning strategies such as GRATs, QPRTs, dynasty trusts, sales to defective grantor trusts, decanting and other techniques for the modification of irrevocable trusts, she brings to the practice a deep satisfaction in working closely with clients and their families, serving as a trusted counselor and adviser.
Fran is a fellow in the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel (ACTEC) and has been a frequent speaker, both locally and nationally, on a variety of topics relating to the estate and generation skipping tax.
