Career

Filipa Arantes Pedroso joined the firm in 1982, became a Partner in 1987.

Filipa worked as a corporate lawyer, notably in mergers and acquisitions, in the many relevant projects acting for important national and international clients.

In 2006 she created and led the corporate and real estate practice group until 2019 becoming a Senior Partner in 2020.

Filipa has been responsible for advising real estate investments (asset deals or share deals) and respective due diligences; creation of real estate investment structures, including real estate investment funds and other real estate vehicles; touristic investment operations, drafting and negotiation of sale and purchase agreements, among others.

Professional Memberships

Portuguese Bar Association. Former Board Member of Lex Mundi. Former chair of the Lex Mundi Banking and Finance Group. Former regional vice-chair of the Lex Mundi Construction and Infrastructure Group. Founder and Member of the Association of the New Silk Road (China).

Law degree (Lisbon University, 1978). Master's in European Law (Catholic University of Louvain, 1980/81).
