Erik Haas is a member of the Firm's Litigation department and Co-Chair of the Firm's Structured Finance Litigation Team and its False Claims Act and Whistleblower Defense team. Mr. Haas’s practice encompasses a wide range of complex commercial litigation, including the following substantive areas: (i) structured finance and securitizations, (ii) whistleblower actions under the False Claims Act, the Sarbanes-Oxley Act, the Dodd-Frank Act, and state and federal employment statutes, (iii) international joint venture disputes, (iv) intellectual property litigation, and (v) shareholder class and derivative actions.
Before attending law school, Mr. Haas spent three years with Arthur Andersen & Company, where he focused on structured finance and securitization transactions, and secured his CPA license.
