All aspects of Court of Protection work but especially brain injury cases and acting as the deputy in high value catastrophic injury cases. Currently acts as the deputy in over two hundred cases. Expert witness reports (both claimant,defendant and joint) in respect of costs in Court of Protection cases. Personal injury trusts and related trust work where they may be issues of capacity. Acts as a trustee in many PI trusts.

Joined Thomson Snell & Passmore in 1976. Partner since 1990. Head of the highly regarded Court of Protection division. Eddie has concentrated on building up the firm's Court of Protection practice and the firm is now widely considered to be one of the key market leaders with a large and dedicated team specifically dealing with this area of law.


Numerous articles in various publications such as PCA and Law Society Private Client section magazine. Contributor to LexisNexis practice notes and a regular speaker at brain injury conferences and several private client section annual conferences.


Married with one daughter. Leisure interests include reading, travel and most sports but particularly rugby and cricket.
