Donald leads the firm’s real estate litigation team. His practice covers a broad range of international commercial contract disputes as well as disputes in the real estate sector.
He is recognised as a leading expert on 1954 Act renewals for both landlords and tenants and regularly lectures on this topic and others for Central Law Training (CLT). He advises clients in litigation before the English courts and in arbitrations under the rules of the ICC, LCIA, LME and other trade bodies.
In common with other senior members of the group, Donald spends much of his time giving positioning and dispute avoidance advice for key clients.
Donald joined Penningtons Manches Cooper in 1983 and became a partner in 1998.
