Career

David Schick’s practice is focused on representing physicians in healthcare law and in business and corporate (profit and not-for-profit) law. He represents numerous medical groups, including hospital-based physician groups (e.g., anesthesiology, radiology and hospitalist groups).

David has been representing physicians in all aspects of their professional endeavors for more than 33 years, including in connection with their relationships with hospitals. He handles issues involving medical staff bylaws, and exclusive (and other) service agreements between physician groups and hospitals, including physician employment agreements.

David also represents many physician groups in connection with acquisitions, exclusively representing the physician side of the equation. David does not represent the hospital or the private equity purchaser of the physician practice. Consequently, David’s focus is on protecting the physicians’ best interest in these transactions.
