David is a consultant in the corporate and commercial team. He advises on a range of matters, including corporate governance, mergers and acquisitions, re-organisations, joint ventures, corporate finance and insolvency. His clients range from SMEs to multi-nationals and listed companies to large institutions including UK and overseas private and public companies.

David began his career in 1979 at BP plc in London before moving to Clifford Chance and then Linklaters. After two years in-house at British Alcan Aluminium plc, David joined Clarkslegal as a partner in 1985, before joining IBB in 2005.
David writes articles on a wide range of topics from crowd funding to the legal risks for SMEs in industry and C-suite publications nationally, including the Financial Times.
David achieved his LLB from Auckland University. He was a Senior Scholar and won the New Zealand Law Society Centennial Scholarship prize. David then went on to complete an MA in Business Law at London Metropolitan University and made the UK his home. David now sits on the Board of West London Business and the Uxbridge BID
