An appellate specialist for over 25 years, Celene is a founder and managing shareholder of Brannock Humphries & Berman. She has successfully handled dozens of appeals from multi-million-dollar verdicts, has won reversals in every appellate court in Florida, and frequently practices at the Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals and the United States Supreme Court. Celene also has extensive courtroom experience, providing trial support in complex high-stakes cases.
Celene is board certified in appellate practice and is a regular writer and lecturer on a wide range of subjects. She is a longtime leader in Florida appellate circles, previously serving on the Florida Bar’s Appellate Practice Section’s Executive Council, the Appellate Court Rules Committee as Parliamentarian, and the Second District Court of Appeal’s Judicial Nominating Commission as its Chair. Celene is the long-time Chair of and a speaker at the appellate board certification review course, and she has repeatedly served as Chair of the appellate advocacy workshop, an intensive appellate practice program taught by appellate judges and experienced practitioners.
