Carlos Rodriguez practices in the areas of securitization and structured finance and represents major commercial banks, investment banks, fund advisers and insurance companies in the United States and Latin America in structuring, financing and investing in structured financial instruments and asset-backed securities and negotiating repurchase and warehouse facilities. He has extensive experience in capital markets transactions involving the public offering of registered securities and the private placement of securities issued by U.S. and non-U.S. issuers, including offerings under Rule 144A and Regulation S. He is fluent in Spanish and can read Portuguese.
Carlos is the Chair of the Board of Directors of Literacy Inc. (LINC), a not-for-profit organization dedicated to child literacy in poor communities in New York City. As a former member of the New York City Bar Committee to Enhance Diversity in the Profession, Carlos participated in drafting its Statement of Diversity Principles.
