For 40 years, his practice has included corporate and securities litigation, litigation involving mergers and acquisitions, contract disputes, and risk management in a variety of settings. He has represented financial institutions, issuers and purchasers of securities, officers, directors, lenders, professional advisers, and buyers and sellers of businesses. He led Smith Anderson’s Commercial Litigation Practice Group for 25 years.
